The Mescal Movie Set, a sprawling Western movie set, offers 28 buildings complete with props sitting amid authentic cattle country. Plus, the set owners control the surrounding ranch with its mountain backdrops, scenic vistas, and spectacular views. It’s a unique find for your next epic production complete with saloons, hotel, mercantile store, ranch houses, jail, bank, Livery, church/school, and more.

A natural setting that provides unique features in Southern AZ, including multiple large ponds, stately cottonwood trees, and grain fields, all surrounded by scenic mountains. The working farm is owned by 5th-generation ranchers who raise cattle and breed horses. The farm is only ten minutes from downtown Benson and easily accessible.

The fantastic granite boulders and rock formations in Texas Canyon provides a true Western atmosphere with a historically accurate perspective. The Butterfield stagecoach route passed through the canyon from the late 1850s to the early 1860s. It was also the stomping grounds of the Chiricahua Apaches, including Cochise and Geronimo. The location is only 15 minutes from Benson and easily accessed off the freeway.

Sonoita is located in the savannas of southern Arizona, with high-rolling grasslands and oak forests surrounded by spectacular mountains and canyons. It is home to the historic Empire Ranch, which has been working cattle since the 1860s. The area is centrally located between Benson and Tucson, south of the I-10 freeway.

The Sonora Desert is home to the Saguaro Cactus, known as the universal symbol of the West. The saguaro is the largest cactus found in the United States and is located only in the Sonora Desert. The Saguaro National Park and its surrounding area have the densest forests of Saguaros in the world.

Are you looking for a lot of nothing? The Willcox Playa is the largest dry lake bed in Arizona. The stark and barren playa is roughly 8 miles wide and 10 miles long. Sand dunes are located on it’s margins and a lonely stretch of railroad tracks cross one corner. The location is 30 minutes from Benson and easily accessed from the freeway.
